Objective

Help Dulux establish a relationship with John Lewis in the lifestyle space, by inspiring people to seamlessly combine their decoration ideas and home furnishings.

Strategy

Understanding the barriers and triggers of how people shopped this category, we needed a UX design that would both excite and simplify.

Output

We developed an immersive digital experience that allowed people to easily visualise their potential new space – and then shop for it. The intuitive touchscreen hub could be accessed via smartphone or interactive table in-store, inviting consumers to choose the room they wished to decorate, then add complementary furniture and accessories to their design. They could then instantly buy their chosen looks directly at johnlewis.com.
